This Kick-Off event is to formally introduce our Code for Lansing Brigade to the Lansing Community. We will be presenting a pilot project on creating a volunteer management system that will first be used at The Fledge but will be made open source for all to use! 

After our pilot project, the Code for Lansing Brigade will be hosting a pitch night this fall where members of social movements, nonprofits, and government agencies can pitch a problem that has a tech solution.

Come learn about our Brigade, how you can help support us, and get involved. Every week going forward, we will be gathering as hackers, web designers, project managers, and software developers, to solve a civic problem in the Lansing/Michigan community.
