Join the Michigan History Center and the Fledge for a special celebration of storytelling!

For the past 8 months, the Michigan History Center has been working with the national non-profit StoryCorps to preserve and share stories in Lansing. At this FREE listening party event, hear clips from some of the 30 interviews that have already been collected in the Lansing area (many of which were recorded at the Fledge!). Learn what the StoryCorps project at the Michigan History Center is all about, have your questions answered and see if it might be something YOU want to participate in!

This event will also celebrate the Fledge’s birthday and commemorate the occasion with a live StoryCorps demonstration. Watch and listen as founder Jerry Norris participates in a StoryCorps interview to share the story of the Fledge. Not sure if participating in a StoryCorps interview is for you? This demonstration will show you the entire process beginning-to-end so you know exactly what to expect.
